I utilize my 15-year background in financial planning operations to help families navigate estate transitions (divorce, death, & downsizing) with ease, confidence, and dignity.

These services are designed to make your estate transition experience a better one – even if there is no real estate to sell. I work hard to help families avoid common mistakes that can be costly, cause delays, or create friction between family members or heirs.

Any real estate transaction is separate from services offered through HES. All sales are processed through my broker at Atlanta Communities Real Estate Brokerage.
Pre-Probate Planning & Organizing
Preparing your estate for your absence is an act of love. ​If you are concerned about your own estate not being organized or well documented, together we can create an estate snapshot which is used as a guide for your family in the event of your death or incapacitation. This service includes either a physical record system or a secure online portal.

If estate planning documents are needed, I can introduce you to either an estate planning attorney and/or financial planner who can help you create these and prevent estate issues BEFORE they are irreversible.
After Loss Professional Services
It all starts with a free consultation. We discuss where you are in the process and your current struggles and concerns. There are two main ways I can help.

I offer hands-on assistance with administrative and logistical tasks. In this capacity I am like your project manager, making calls and gathering paperwork for your signature and helping you to stay on track as an executor. There may be errands I can assist with as well.

You may feel comfortable tackling the to-do's but would rather have a coach in your corner who can build a roadmap of executor tasks/timelines, schedule regular check-ins with you, and help you troubleshoot your challenges and celebrate your progress.
Post-Divorce Logistics & Name Change Services
The judge has signed off, or is about to, and the list of to-dos just keeps getting longer.
You need to start/stop services, open new accounts, transfer assets, sell assets, and maybe change your name or even move to a new home. Life doesn't come to a stop so you can take care of these things.

Let me help. I can make phone calls, gather and prepare paperwork for you sign, and run errands to facilitate these changes... all so you can be that much closer to moving on with this next chapter of your life.

Document Sorting Service
Were you left with a mountain of documents and mail that need to be sorted?

Sometimes a person passes away and leaves their personal files in disarray. Their next of kin now has the lovely task of sifting through everything left to find crucial documents and information needed for settling their loved one's estate.
This is a task that you can hand over to Holcombe Estate Solutions. I will separate and organize all the records into Essential and Non-Essential files and make note of all the accounts, assets, and any important documents uncovered. Everything is handed back in file boxes with a list of contents.
